Today we wanted to create a meal that was healthy, delicious and fun to create. We did a version of a South Western Chicken Salad, with a Fruit Side Salad. It was absolutely delicious and totally fulfilling to eat.
-1 Green Fuji Apple
-1 Hand of Raspberries
-1 pinch of salt
South Western Chicken Salad:
-Take any amount of chicken that you like and sauté with 2 tbsp of butter
-With the chicken add a tsp of Worcestershire Sauce
-Add a handful of bacon bits and 1 cup of Parmesan Cheese
-In a Large Bowl add any amount of lettuce or spinach or any type of greens
-Add the chicken mixture in to the bowl and mix
South Western Salad Dressing:
-Put it in a blender and then blend it all together
-1 cup of sour cream and 2 tbsp of A-1 Sauce
-1/4 cup of onions(diced)
-1/2 a bell pepper(any color)(chopped)
-1 petite cucumber and 5 petite dill pickles(chopped)
-1/3 of a lemon(squeezed)
-2 dashes of any hot sauce
-1 tbsp of vinaigrette
Feel free to mix the two salads together and enjoy!
